    Miss Piggy Won a Trophy

Sometimes 1 issue can be overlooked if the total car merits an award. It sounds like your car fell into that category and the incident and timing are very believable. Congratulations and hope the repairs get don to your satisfaction.

What did you do to your car today?

I must admit I cringe a little when I see a hood sitting on the roof. I am sure you wouldn't do it if it caused you any concern on such a nice car. I just can't get myself to that point.

Marti can also provide you the door data tag as well. I think you get a discount with getting the report and data decal at the same time.

    MCA Concourse Blue Medallion

Thank you Chuck. Plans have changed on the Cyclone a bit. Seriously started looking into other options following the feedback from others of how far I wanted to take the FE versus pulling the hammer on a Coyote. I am sure you know what path that takes you down...... All said and done, by the...

    New member!

Welcome to the best mustang family and forum on the web. This is a great group to learn from and share with. No bad car questions here as we all have been there trying to learn or investigate one thing or another. That looks like a great starting point and cool color. If you would like to...

Very cool to see the 72 at the bottom of the page.

    MCA Concourse Blue Medallion

Just received the email from MCA that they have approved my receipt of the Concourse Blue Medallion to be awarded at the 60th Anniversary Celebration in Birmingham, AL at the beginning of April 2024. I find it ironic that the cars first showing was at the 50th in Charlotte back in 2014 and the...

    Back in the Mustang gang

Welcome back to the mustang family and by far the best branch of the family tree for the 71-73 fans. This is a great forum to be a member of. Very respectful and family friendly interactions. By far the greatest group of mustang fans that share and support each others builds and questions...

Looking for white pony vinyl floor mats

That one may be a tricky find. Good luck with the search.

    NOS?

Repro fenders have a dimple every few inches pressed into the bend where it transitions from the top of the inner apron in the engine bay to the vertical area that creates the relief for the hood to set in. They added these dimples to meet current crumple zone requirements based on new...

    Beware user Scanty12

I may have spoke to soon on 4mm as I see they have an extensive posting history. If I am wrong my apologies, but just did not feel right at the time.

    Beware user Scanty12

Still trying to find an old 72 grill for some parts off of it. Recently received a private message from user Scanty12 that has no posting history and just joined who recommended another party of 4mm selling parts. Utilized the conversations section of the forum to connect with both and just...

    Jeep to a 72

Welcome to the 7173 family. It is a great family to be part of. Glad to here you have a fun weekend drive going forward. I have to admit, something does look a little unusual for the front bumper fit. If you are OK with it then it is just fine and you need to go out and enjoy the drive. If...

Vehicles Wanted Wanted Light Pewter or Calypso Coral 71 Boss 351 or Mach 1 with 429

I spoke with Finley at the Boss Nationals in August and he is selling some 72 R codes. Those are a collectable unknown. I think they will be desirable in the future.

Vehicles Wanted Wanted Light Pewter or Calypso Coral 71 Boss 351 or Mach 1 with 429

I documented one of the Calypso Coral bosses back at an Indy MCA show years ago. I had been in Perkins collection prior to being sold to the owner showing it. It was original paint except for the under carriage.

    Strut rods?

I agree with Sheriff41 and would recommend to get them eyed up and tightened down before engine install. Final setting will be done at alignment shop, but they are not dependent on engine weight just to get installed. That will be a much different story once the vehicle weight is on them...

July 72 351C Plug wires - what are the correct type

Agree with the comments above. The transition from Autolite to Motorcraft was "officially" signed by Ford in March 1972. As with all parts transitions, some Motorcraft branded parts were already in production at that time. I would agree that a 7/72 production date should have the majority if...

MCA 2023 Grand National, Melbourne, FL 9/8-9/10/23

Received my judging sheet in email today. Of the possible 900+ points in judging I had a 4 point deduction. My second best showing after a only a 2 point deduction at Grovetown, GA in 2018. Just so others know what a judging sheet can look like and the comments made I have attached mine...
