Looking to buy a Ford Ranger.

Sorry never did update this post. We did find a nice little 2005 Ranger 4x4 with a 5 speed. My son was pretty happy with his birthday present.

    9 inch ratio - 3.25 or 3.55?

Just my opinion but I would go 3.50

How much does a missing title affect the value?

Must be nice to live in those states. In PA you would be screwed. No title it’s pretty much junk here. Hell a junk yard won’t even take a car for scrap if you don’t have a title.

Down the "more power is always better" rabbit hole?

I’m happy with 600ish hp. Actually drives great on the street and can destroy the tires any time I ask it. My old engine was around 400hp or so. This one is a night and day difference. Much more fun to drive. But you do have to be careful because it’s a handful. Gotta have it pointed where you...

73 Convertible exhaust system fitment question

Get a local exhaust shop to custom build and install one for you. I tried the pipes kit and hated it. Some people have good luck with it but I didn’t care for it. I had a local exhaust shop in stall dual 2.5” stainless from headers back for around $700. Includes x pipe, and flowmaster fx mufflers.

    Air compressor…… needed.

Another vote for ingersoll rand. I got mine from tractor supply probably 15 years ago and I only thing ever replaced was the starter capacitor. $15.

    Hydraulic Roller

I may still have a comp cams big mutha thumper cam out in the garage if you want something lumpy! I went with a bigger cam. This one has maybe 5000 miles on it. If I find it, you can have it.

    Hydraulic Roller

Speedmaster?? Like the Chinese knock off stuff? If so I would steer way way clear of that junk.

    Master cylinder replace

If you replaced the master cylinder, you absolutely need to bleed the brakes. I would not even think about driving it without bleeding the entire system. Helps to bench bleed the new master cylinder before install also.

    71 Mach1 painting

Wow. Now it really makes me wonder why this car was missing paint at the gas cap. Here are the pics of the hood blackout underneath. Original and my rendition of it.
