I agree. Cost of good materials is crazy. A few years ago I painted a grabber yellow Mach 1 and 1 gallon of PPG DBC base coat was just under $1,000. That’s was just the paint nothing else. We had around $5,000 total in materials to paint that car.

Not Mach 1 interior. Deluxe interior. Any car could be ordered with deluxe interior. Many Mach 1 have standard interior. It’s all in what was ordered.

I got these on eBay for under $100. They work great and they have driving lights and turn signals built in.

If you have the shorter repop, it will fit through the trunk lid opening. It’s tight and has to go in at an angle but it’s doable. I did my own that way.
