    New to the Mustang world

The few 'big money' or 'just won't' work items include (from the top of my head): Front fenders Front valence Front bumper The grill is different Of course wiring harnesses and such The rear bumper is different too. Engine motor mounts, both the mounts and the seats are unique to the 73 BUT you...

    Convertible Interior Quarters Trim

If you are not a DIY person with this kind of stuff most interior or local upholstery shops could set you up as well.

    New to the Mustang world

Howdy from Phoenix! You've stumbled on a great place to learn and ask questions. There are a few slight differences between the 71/72 and the 73 but for the most part everything is interchangeable.

    Brake Booster Firewall Gasket

That should work fine. I am not sure how it came out of the factory but I would guess they have the assembled booster with the boot and they slapped the gasket on.

Want this Tool; Don't need this tool

I wouldn't use them to break a nut free. Just in those tight spots when the nut isn't moving by hand. Of course an open end wrench can do the job, you just have to turn it over a few dozen times. But well all know that 'smart' feeling when you have a situation and you say 'hey, I have the...

Want this Tool; Don't need this tool

    Electric AC?

This was my thought too. Although it usually takes a few years to adopt. I did a quick search and it appears that many of the AC compressors for cars us a much higher voltage (144v or greater). That's just a 30 second review but it makes sense. That's going to be one of the downsides...

Need help/advice on my 71 suspension and brakes

Of course 'terrible' is a relative term. Our cars are 50 year old technology based on even older designs. They won't compare to the technology of newer cars, especially the chassis and suspension. Corvettes, even the older ones, had the advantage of less weight, full frames and generally...

    hi my name is Mila

Thanks! Do what you can, it doesn't have to be perfect. Reading this post was much much easier, I can usually figure it out if there is some punctuation.

    hi my name is Mila

Well, hopefully we will be able to keep it all mustang related. Although many of us will make occasional personal jokes about ourselves being old farts and such. I haven't read many of your responses, only because I find it difficult to follow along when no punctuation is used. And while...

    New to site

Howdy from Phoenix. I would start by doing an inventory of what you do have. I am assuming the butt wipes who stole the engine and transmission were not particularly careful about the removal. They certainly didn't keep track of and organize all of the bolts and parts that were removed...

    Questions?

Two speeds were not an original option on our cars. I poked around and the Ford two speed doesn't have the correct bolt pattern for our engines. I have to admit I am very curious. I would love to hear a video of it.
