I learned a LOT about welding on the '71 project, actually. I wasn't taking any chances though, and bolstered the whole thing with a set of Global West sub-frame connectors. ;)

Wow. I wish mine would've been that nice when I started in on it. I also wish I had room for a 'vert project.

I passed by it in the garage while working on my Jeep thinking, "Man, it sure would be nice to take it for a spin... if I'd ever fixed the ATF line adapters I'd made from high-pressure fuel injection hose."

I bought some length from the 3M DiNoc store site, but there are plenty of resellers (Amazon, etc.). Just do a search for "3M DiNoc black carbon fiber" Amazon has a 1'x4' sheet for $25.

I went with this DiNoc product instead. Wood grain is for Country Squire Station Wagons. LOL!!
