    911 request feedback please

If it made 16 volts I’d suspect the regulator, even if it is acting normal now. Maybe it is related to heat?

That is no good. Would you consider going back to a conventional lead acid?

Let me know. Can’t have any pitting. I may consider debts or dings if they are not sharp or creased

    Damaged Saginaw Steering Gear Part

There are different OD sizes of input shafts on the 800 boxes. The newer ones are smaller. I’d ask the seller to measure it for you. The earlier ones are 13/16” (71-73 mustangs). A ton of the GM boxes are 3/4”

I think I have something going on with the differential

I had my 9” housing and brake caliper mounts powder coated. Brakes are the SN95 Cobra style on Mustang Steve adaptors. Where I had the powdercoaters mask got me into trouble as the powder coating was thick enough to give the bearing outer race room to slide back and forth inside the housing...

I think I have something going on with the differential

I wonder if your endplay was out of whack. When you reassemble with new bearings be sure to measure endplay. I had to scrape every bit of powder coating off the mating surfaces of my axle housing and brake caliper brackets to get it in spec.

You could get a meter and check for continuity between the terminals and ground while softly pushing on the speaker...

Wild new computer controlled AFR system for carburetors.

Check this out. Jet/ set your carb a little fat and let this system tune it for you / compensate for elevation. The “carb cheater” it is basically a computer controlled vacuum leak that alters the AFR. This guy is pretty brilliant and has done some wild stuff in the past. If nothing else it...

Highway 70 in Indiana - A world class experience of potholes.

Anyone live in Indiana? Just drove through on 70. Man- the roads are jaw dropping. I kid you not we drove over one section of 70 that had a bridge abutment that was a car killer. If I would have been in my mustang I would have bent wheels, and would have smashed my oil pan, engine crossmember...

    Braking power?

What kind of pads / shoes did you use? Also, did you bed them in? Pad compound plays a lot into how they grab. Also properly bedding in the pads by doing several aggressive stops from 40-50mph to 0 will make a big difference. Make sure the drum brakes are properly adjusted, that the shoe...
