Anyone identify these two pieces of aluminum channel?

Okay- I am going through all the trim I have stashed away and found two pieces that I can not figure out where they go on my coupe. Anyone know? They might have come off a fastback I parted out.

Aluminum trim restoration / anodizing services?

Anyone have a trim restoration service they have had good luck with? I need to get a pile of trim for my Grande refurbished. At this point I don’t know if I want bright clear anodize or black.

Off the shelf 3rd member that drops into our cars?

Ok- the whole flange gasket subject has me thinking. The gasket does not seal anything- but it does control how much endplay the axle shaft has. If you had a dial indicator and installed both gaskets it would be interesting to see how far you can move the axle shaft in and out of the housing...

No flange gaskets used. When you are running a sealed bearing with a seal inside the axle tube no oil is getting out to the flange.

I thew out 1350 as it is the performance standard. Good for plenty of horsepower. Only suggested because it is common, Will NOT bolt right in. I really doubt your yoke is trash. It might have some wear on the sealing surface, which could be repaired with a Redi Sleeve. You do have to put a...

Off the shelf 3rd member that drops into our cars?

You could purchase any new third member that has the same spline count as your axles - with one catch. Make sure whatever one your purchase has a crush sleeve eliminator kit in it. (The pinion preload is set by shims between the two pinion bearings instead of a crush sleeve). You order up a...

Wiper motor will not turn off

You must have something gummed up with the wiper parking switch. You need to use really thin grease like NLGI 1.5 or 1. Pull it back apart and look closely at the parking mech. Look over this old thread https://7173mustangs.com/threads/windshield-wiper-park-when-switch-turned-to-off.37492/
