Welcome from Ohio. Very nice looking from the picture. Just remember, owning one of these cars is like raising a child - you're always spending your money on them for something.

    NPD Greed

I'm glad that everyone has settled down and are on speaking terms. Good to see that our members can admit when wrong or in err. One of the downfalls in using social media is that besides not hearing someone's voice you also don't see their facial expressions. Lacking these audio and visual...

She supported my car hobby, kind of...

So sorry Ken for your lost. I remember when you first posted about her condition. I know it's a rough time for you and there is little that anyone can say or do to help ease your pain. Try to take comfort in that although she is gone, part of her still lives on in your children. Our prayers...

Welcome from Cincinnati. Looks like it will be a good project car. It's nice that you have the tranny and that the clutch pedal is still in the car. It will make swapping the trans back out a lot easier.

What's the Best Aluminum Radiator For My Vehicle

+1 with all that's mentioned above. You also mentioned that yours is 12 years old. Has it ever worked right, or has it been running in the 220 range since the day you installed it. When was the last time you flushed it? Also, I noticed you live in Florida. I'm going to take for granted that...

    Holley Sniper CAN wiring shorted

Sorry to hear about the mix up but my question to you is your sniper on it's way. If not, hold the carbs ransom and demand a hperspark distributor along with the hyper coil and ignition box! :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

What to do with rear sway bar bolts

After seeing your picture are for sure that's not a flat top u-bolt. Have you tried knocking them up to see if it is. I would give one of them a few good taps to see. If its not, then I would do as Sheriff mentioned and tack weld the bolts at the frame and then cut them flush. Then as I...

What to do with rear sway bar bolts

The 2 solutions I can come up with would be to use a flat top u - bolt or a rivet nut. I am using the u- bolt kit that I got from Addco for my sway bar. Simple enough to install and works as well as any other method. Rivet nuts work great too if installed properly. I have use them on...

    Master cylinder replace

You need to be careful when bleeding your brakes that you don't trip the proportioning valve. They make a screw in bleeder tool that fits where your brake warning switch is at in the proportioning valve that will keep it from tripping. See pic. You can pick these up at most auto stores.

A friend of mine sent me this. Although it's funny it will make you think a little also.

What did you do to your car today?

Between my wife's accident and the weather, I've been couped up inside for the past 4 months breathing stale air. So today, I decided to go out into the garage, fire up the stang and stick my nose by the exhaust to get some fresh air - Ahhh - what a refreshing experience.

P/S pump replacement a dud -- what now?

Have you tried turning the wheels stop to stop. If there is air in the system it will compress and act like the pump is not working properly. Turning the wheels stop to stop should get any air out.

AUSTIN VERT GIVES CLASSIC AIR UPDATE

Just some food for thought that might also work for you. Below is a standard valve for the heater and is in the closed position when vacuum is applied. You could go this route and run a vacuum line off the manifold to inside the car with a switch and then back out to the vacuum solenoid. That...

    Holley Sniper CAN wiring shorted

Sorry to hear your misfortune. Getting parts and down time was one of my concerns when I got mine, but the benefits of the Sniper outweigh those concerns and I'm glad I got it. One of those upgrades that was well worth the money.

Here is a diagram of the vacuum lines and motors they go to. This is for an a/c car but it should work for you to figure out what came off.

    Fabrice's 429CJ 71 project

Sounds like you have had a trying past few months. Glad to see you are fine and have been working on your cars. Once again, your pictures prove that you do things right the first time around. Although I'm happy with the work I did on mine, I wish you would have started on yours before I began...
