Went to one of the local car shows yesterday. Made the top ten. I'm really proud of how well the car shows.

For giggles I replied to the two that tony mentioned. I asked if they were still available and informed them that I was highly interested and wanted to stop by to look. I said I was from the area and was available at any time. To date, no reply from either of them.

Well I finished up installing the kickdown cable and changing the oil the other day, While I was at it, I also put a starter heat shield blanket on. It gets really hot being right next to the headers. Got her down off the ramps and jack stands and I figure I take her out and see if the kickdown...

Interesting piece. This brings up the question once again of at what point does a car cease to be what it is. To what extent of modifications can you make before you tip the balance of it no longer being that make and model and just becomes a "thing" that has a name of what it once was.

I'm with you as far as getting the car out and doing a little cruising. I plan on changing the oil next week and tidding up a few things and then will be ready to hit the road.
