    Twist lock hardware

Anybody have all the brackets and goodies to install twist locks? I have two twist locks and nothing to mount them with. :-/

    How well can they handle?

Although the aftermarket for our cars isn't as strong in the suspension department as the earlier years, the have greater potential for track use. Weight aside, they have improved suspension geometry, a wider track and a stiffer chassis. Given the right parts, they can become very competitive...

1971-73 Mustangs: Why are they the least liked ?

Oh and some confuse it with other cars. Funny story: One time at a light, some guy is eyeing my car, checking it out for a few seconds before he decides to tell me, "Hey man, that is a nice Camaro!" I laugh and tell him it's actually a Mustang. The guy looks at me with disbelief and says "I...

    351 C engine sound (video)

I had a whine exactly like that when my car had A/C. It was the adjuster pulley for the A/C belt. The bearing was shot and it would whine just like that, loud as hell. Check that, it's always a possibility.

    Coupe roof - $50

If I remember correctly, the roof was in perfect shape. There was only scattered surface rust, but it was all solid. This was a few months ago, last time I saw it. The cut points were hacked a bit sloppy, but otherwise a nice piece of steel.

    Coupe roof - $50

Lol that's from the donor car I bought. Stupid roof was taking up too much space and I told my neighbor he could sell it. A few easy bucks for him. Apparently he didn't listen when I told him it was for a coupe and NOT a Mach 1.

    Another Movie Mustang!

Hey everyone... Just saw this trailer for Cymbeline. Comes out this year and has plenty of big name Hollywood talent. Ethan Hawke drives a '73 convertible. Check out the trailer here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=prB-K3buPBM

    Luxstang goes old school

Holy crap Lux, that looks amazing. One question and one request: What size are the front and backs? I bought 15" black steelies and want to go for that vintage NASCAR look, and your car is rocking it hard. And the request: Do you have a high-res version of the rear-quarter shot? I'd like to make...

    71-73 Monte Carlo Bar Installed

Sweet bar! Looks really good! ::thumb:: I couldn't get my NPD bar to fit and was going to get a custom fabbed one too. I recently wrote to NPD stating that their monte carlo bars are incorrect for our year Mustangs, and they went ahead and tested it on one of their cars. One of their reps, Tim...

    cudak888: 1972 Q-code - cam failure pictures

Sorry for the late post guys, but I had a pretty busy Mother's Day. The one picture I took of the interior does not do it justice. This was after many parts had already been removed, and I didn't get a shot of the rear seats. It was a landfill back there. Here's the passenger side with plenty of...

    Electroluminescent Gauges

Wandering around the interwebz, I came across these: I've seen these a couple of times in catalogs, but have never seen someone actually use it in their Mustang. What's the deal with these things? Has anyone here actually used or seen a set of these electro gauges in person? I like the...

    wheels are on!

I bought a set of D-Windows a few weeks back and was wondering how they'd look on my car when I get it fixed. Now I know I made the right choice. They look awesome. Thumbs up for the dare-to-be-different look.

    Standard Steering Wheel

Hey everyone, Anyone have one of these laying around? I'm looking to get rid of the ugly Grant wheel that's on the car now and for some reason I've been wanting one of these standard plain jane '71 steering wheels. Doesn't have to be perfect, just something that's usable. Thanks, Josue

Mach 1. No engine. $950. Good quarters. Needs pans. Blind buy. Get it?

Nice find! Hard to go wrong for that price, really. As far as the bill of sale, there is a way to get a title for the car. My brother bought a '72 Beetle about 4 years ago in Orlando and it had no title. My neighbor, being a car dealer, told him to apply for one. Well he did, and actually...

'65/66 does a BigBlue outside my office window

Nice to see that this is now referred to as "Doing a Big Blue" lol. In all fairness, I did two spins and destroyed the front and back of my car, so I get to keep my gold metal. He needs to keep practicing dancebanana In all seriousness though, I'm glad he didn't hit the car or have anyone else...
