Need help identifying this part and where it goes on my 71 Mach 1

My 73 Mach has it. I believe it was only used for factory AC cars to help move more air flow through the radiator. Lot more people on here know much more than I do about that question.

What did you do to your car today?

Finally go the truck torsion springs replaced. Now when you unlock the trunk it pops open on its own. No more slamming shut when you aren't expecting it.

AUSTIN VERT'S CLASSIC AUTO AIR SYSTEM NEW UPDATE

I just had a Classic air firewall out kit installed as I had factory AC. What should have been a few days job turned into a 6 week job. My installer had a few issues with the kit and could not get support from them. I ended up sending a support ticket to have them call my installer and got no...

1971 stock tach + Pertronix II

I had the same issue on my tach after installed the Petronix II. I watched a video by Jeff at Restomod on youtube and he explains how to wire to fix this. My harness was complete to my tach. I bought a trailer wiring harness extension and connected between the harness and the tach and ran a...

    Dash lights. Led ?

The light switch and the cigarette lighter are illuminated. Could it be one of those?

    Dash lights. Led ?

Interesting. When I pulled my instrument panel, there was no additional wiring harness connected. Only thing I had to unplug was the speedometer cable, the plug that goes into the circuit board and the tach cable.

'71 - '73 heavy duty trunk torsion bars

If it wouldn't be a bother, can you video the installation of these? I have some on order from Findley and have never installed these.

    Dash lights. Led ?

When I installed my HiPo bulbs, I still had issues with some of the bulbs not having good contact with the circuit board. I replaced the circuit board and bulb sockets and had the same issue. I actually had to adjust the bulbs as I installed them. By this I mean I could not twist them all in...

    73 Mach I Factory AC

I'm having a Classic Auto Air upgrade kit installed on the 22nd. I believe I will let the mechanic see what he can find. I did a quick look at the outside recirculating air motor, as it's easy to see, and the vacuum line going to it is red and it should be white. I would say the vacuum line...

    73 Mach I Factory AC

Any idea what else to look for being it's still working backwards after installing this? Can it be a vacuum problem?

    73 Mach I Factory AC

What I failed to say is, it's doing the same thing. Heat/Cool works in the opposite direction.

    73 Mach I Factory AC

I installed the new water valve I purchased from Amazon. Nothing in the spec said if it was normally opened or closed. I can hold it up to the light and with the valve open, I can see light. When I push the vacuum lever, it closes and can see no light. Both the one I had and the new one from...
