I appreciate the info. I decided to put the original valve covers back on which will eliminate the problem I'm having. That way everything will hook back up correctly. Benefit of keeping all my original parts I pulled off.

Stanglover what brand did you install? I don't see an option for the Long C bracket on any site I've be to.

I installed these. Same issue. If I have to be somewhere in a limited time, I have to leave about 15 minutes early to allow time to unlock the seat belts. :)

Yes my aftermarket valve covers does not have that. The rt cover is where the PCV valve is now.

I mounted my display just above the rear view mirror and doesn't block it. I then ran the wire along the headliner to the left side of the car and ran down the molding and under the dash. Works great and no wires showing.

Following up on this. I tried adding 5 ohm then 10 ohm then 15 ohm resistors to my tach wire as Petronix suggested to get my factory tach to work correctly and nothing worked. I then watched a video my Auto Resto Mod and followed the instructions for adding a trailer wire extension harness...
