73 Q code was 351 - 4V. There never was a Mach 1 package available on convertibles. At least for 71-73. Other years I am not 100% certain.

It would go into a type of limp mode. It will lock the timing at 10 BTDC. As far as parts, I brought this up to them and they do stock parts and ship same day. Any part can go bad and need replaced on anything, new or old. The plus side is the car will still run and drive.

It is the MAP (Manifold Absolute Pressure) measured in kPa.

Yeah I had issues with availability on the Trick Flow heads at first but it seems they pick and choose who gets shipments. I ended up buying mine from Tim at Meyer Racing. I also got my complete rotating assembly from his for the 408 I built.

I'm running the trick flow 225's with an airgap. Very happy. The car screams. No clearance issues with the NACA hood. Would not easily clear a flat hood.,

So I finally bit the bullet and ordered the distributor from Progression Ignition. First off, great quality and customer service. Install was easy. Just rotate the engine to be at 10 degrees BTDC. Stab the distributor with the rotor painting at #1. Wire and start and verify timing at 10 BTDC...

I like that look.

I just installed the bolts back into the holes before putting the new carpet in. Then they are easy to locate and cut the opening.

I believe my poor gas mileage has to do with the large brick that must be attached to my right foot! 🤣

Yeah. I ended up borrowing one from a member on here and made my own then sent his back to him.

Nice. I have the same oil pan and have had leak issues since day one. very very minimal. I might give this a try.
