Buy 2 right hand mounts and follow Q1SVT's post above. He says take them apart (drill the rivets) and use the Top part from the new mount and the bottom part from your old mount and bolt them together, wallah... new motor mount rubber in your '73.

Sounds like your ignition switch is not releasing. It's on your steering column behind the column cover. You can clean it out with electrical connection cleaner. Does your key switch spring back when you let it go or is it sticky? You may need to clean your key switch too. You will see a small...
