Muscletang needs new floor pans - advice?

looks good :bravo: Now you know why it costs so much to have this type of work done not easy is it. You should definitely repair the seat risers, the stress cracks can easily be fixed by adding a reinforcement layer of sheet metal underneath in addition to welding the crack itself (drill a...

351C 4V Valve and valvetrain replacement

I don't get what the big deal is about asking to have the front bearing installed to spec. Clearly it's installed wrong. Is it going to be a problem maybe / maybe not, sure is a lot easier to fix now vs once the engine is in the car. Your the customer PAYING FOR A SERVICE. Why you should feel...

Looks Great ! I think you may have made a bit of a mistake using the rustblast PRIOR to the epoxy..Pretty much all epoxy's will have a problem react with the acid in rust removal products and most will state not to be applied over any products containing acid. What happens is down the road the...

    A-Pillar Tweeter Pods

In the future when you do "bondo" or filler work you can save yourself hours upon hours of sanding by using whats called a "cheese grater" to rough cut the filler to shape. you do this 2-3 times then apply your final topcoat. Gets you there a lot faster. You use it as soon as the filler kicks is...

351C 4V Valve and valvetrain replacement

I tend to agree with the above...If you want a great near stock setup that runs pretty darn good you can't beat the old (but updated) 505 by Lunati. It's a updated version of the the factory performance cam you could buy back in the day over the ford parts counter. It was a well kept secret of...

The bracket edge welds look stock sloppy but thats how they tacked the edges. The quarter inner structure cuts are also stock again sloppy but thats how mine are and I know no work was done there. So no worries your looking at how it came from the factory.

how to replace a rear quarter panel on a 71 convertible

Not a job for a beginner requires some special tools--A mig or tig welder and depending how hard it was hit may require a pull on a frame machine..Better off to have a experienced body shop do the work. Post up a picture so we can see better..Might be able to save the existing panel
