    Eagle rods and piston pin

If you are using full floating pins then you are ok. This requires retaining clips on both sides of the pin in the pistons. Otherwise if it is supposed to be a press fit pin, then it will not work as you have 0.001" clearance between pin and rod. Call the store you are buying the pistons from...

    Ignition lock

You should be able to get a new ignition coded to the doors. Maybe you could go back to him and see if he could recode it once you get the new ignition. Otherwise, I see ignition and door lock sets for reasonable prices in many places.

    Ignition lock

If you have dental pics or similar you can try to reach into the lock and move the individual tumblers to see if you can free them up.

Rocketmans Tach conversion ROCKS in renewed dash

Looks great! I was thinking of getting the Rocketman tach conversion as well. This confirms it for me that I will be doing so. I was also thinking of getting Speedhut gauges for the three gauge cluster. Just trying to figure out the best way to install them. I am thinking a customer SLS...

    Ignition lock

Yup. You have to remove the steering wheel to get at the retention pin hole: The second pic shows a close up view of the hole. The lock will need to be in the run position to be removed. To get the lock working again. I would spray brake clean in the lock and then some teflon lube or...

    73 Auto Shifter rebuild

Hey Greg, thanks for the video! The bushings that were in mine looked like phenolic and the shifter was almost frozen in place. Looks like the new plastic ones should work much better.

What is your initial timing at? If it is too high it may cause the same issues you mention.

    Looking for a good piston

In my experience Speed Pro's are a quality piston. I have used them in Ford's, Chevy's and Mopar's with good success. However, it has been several years since I last used them.

I have just been working on little things. Installed outside door handles, window glass in doors. So, no updated pictures yet. I just pulled the steering box and column so I will try to document the rebuild of the column. Thanks for all of your support!

    Switched to Antique Plates

In Wisconsin the first collector vehicle you register costs $200 which is a one time fee. Additional vehicles are $150 each. Our regular annual fee is $75/year. Our collectors plates are blue, so it should go with my 3k blue glow paint! I don't really pay that much attention to the plates...
