Accidentally cut the metal fuel line

Thanks, I might as well replace the rear brake lines while I'm at it.

Accidentally cut the metal fuel line

How does this sound for a plan. I can install a new SS fuel line, and only do the rubber line patch on the vapor line ...

Accidentally cut the metal fuel line

I was trying very hard not to do this, but I nicked both the fuel and the vapor metal lines while cutting out flooring. I slapped on some 3/8 rubber fuel line, let me know if this will present an issue. I assume ok since there's already rubber / metal / rubber all the way to the engine bay.

    Brake Pedal Hanger Removal

Along this same line of questioning, can you get away with converting an automatic to Manual without removing the dash ? I will need to swap out the pedal assembly.

Parts Wanted Trunk Pan M438 or M438A

Here's my situation. The previous owner did install a new trunk pan, but told me that he was a only novice welder. I am not sure when he had the pan out, whether he treated the frame rails inside with POR, etc. And I do not see any plug welds securing the pan to the frame rails. i am tempted to...

Parts Wanted Trunk Pan M438 or M438A

Amazon and Autoplicity are no go's. Don't order the trunk pan from them.

Parts Wanted Trunk Pan M438 or M438A

I'm having trouble finding a decent deal for a trunk pan. Amazon has one for $209, but they cancel the order immediatly. The mustang parts houses all want to charge Freight shipping $175. Let me know what ya'll are doing to source these, I'm near Austin / San Antonio. I would be willing to...

Spectra Premium F32A fuel tank/fuel vapor separator fitment

I bought this racing foam on Amazon. It's way too big , I feel like I could share this with a few other people redoing their tanks https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LXPGZQG?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title

    Vinegar bath for spindles

+1 for vinegar. You can even cut the vinegar almost in half with water (2.5% acid) and it still strips parts it to bare metal. I never tried molasses yet, but if the metal is already damaged/pitted seems like it would show up either way

Tail Panel removal - need procedure

I'll see if I can rig up an Acid bath for ole Rusty NOS, and will revisit slapping in the entire panel.

Tail Panel removal - need procedure

The #2 pic is the NOS tail panel sitting under the original piece previous owner cut out. It's way more rusty than the ebay pictures let on.

Tail Panel removal - need procedure

For those following my tail panel saga, I did a test run of cutting out the middle section using the Taiwanese panel. The previous owner did a nice job cutting out the middle rusted section of tail panel. I'm confident I can graft in the missing section using the NOS panel and make it look good...
