@Joseph Knopf , my igntion is also not springing back , and if I'm not careful the starter keeps spinning after the car starts. Looking for any pointers on how to fix this. Do I have to pull the steering wheel ? Can the springs be lubricated cleaned ?

@t.kohlmeyer for sure that is the 1971 bracket, of which you would typically need two and the 71 hood latch setup...

Great post and responses. I'm digging into the brakes on my 72 now and this will help. Didn't know about having to use a centering screw in the combo valve to keep it centered. COOL!

My car was built October 19,1971, and my passenger seat is stamped Sep 24,1971, and by the looks of it this seat looks factory made. Since the 1971 Mustangs were already on the road by Sep 24,1971 I'm still wondering if these are original Ford Seats in my car, and just not on the Marti.

Here is my Marti report. Why do I have "1971 only" Ginger Seats with Upbeat cloth in a 1972 ? What are the odds that someone outfitted my car with upbeat cloth seats from a 1971 mustang ? If these really are my original seats, would that not be on the Marti ? There is a date stamp of September...

It seems worthwhile to do the mustang steve bearing swap while the pedal assembly is off the car. What do you mean by draft angle ? Is it better to tack the bearing housings on first and adjust them to dead center before finishing the weld. Any concern about burning through the assembly ? The...

I got my pedal assembly from Colorado Mustang and the brass bushings. The only place I could find with a nylon bushing is one side of the pedal rod.
