As for shock absorbers I always recommend KYB shocks. Really great quality at an affordable price. I’ve used them extensively and I love them!- luxstang

Alternative clock movement
The push and hold solution is ok. There are several other clocks that work the same way. The switch and wait for 5 seconds is a bit fidgety but once you get used to it I guess it’ll be ok. I mean you don’t do that twice a week anyway, so.....- luxstang
