I've heard all of those same things with no difinitive answer either. Car came with the purple one, To me was a bit "lazy" when shifting no matter how I adjusted it. Read some information/mis-information (who really knows) and tried the black one. Was better, but not great. Have the green one...

I've had no issues with my Mallory Unilite and have had no issues finding caps or rotors either. I believe like others that the older Mallory stuff is probably better than most of the new stuff out there today.

1/16" works better than 1/8" and most importantly - still seals. In order to remove, just tug on the old one. It will slip out from under the "cone" in the middle. Then just work it around. Do the opposite to install. There is some stretch to the material and it won't rip unless you pull WAY...

I have to admit that I drive with just the lap belt. I have the stock shoulder belt, but I never touch it. It just stays tucked up under the headliner.

So first thing first. The correct part number is - Russell speed bleeder 639600. These are the 3/8-24 x 1.5" long. The part number I referenced above that I thought was correct are only 1" long. Do they work? Yes. But due to them being so short, you're bottoming out that 3/8 nut on the caliper...

That part is useless to you now, but they can go for decent money. Put it up in a box or sell it, but it's really just in the way on your car now.

Answered my own question. Going with Russell 639590 Speed Bleeders. EDIT - The correct part number is 639600. See below.

Put rebuilt calipers on not long ago and have never been able to get the pedal as fim as it used to be. Today I noticed after a drive that the bleders on each caliper are both dripping a tiny bit when the brakes are applied. They are as tight as can be. Any tighter and I'd be afraid of snapping...

I'm opposite of both of you. Here in Arizona, it just now getting nice to have your car out. We hopefully just had our last 100+* day earlier this week.

My BFG's are 8 years old and the sidewalls aren't holding up too well. Just had a set of Mickey Thompson Sportsman tires delivered today. $775.59 from Jegs. Will have them swapped and road force balanced next Tuesday and the car aligned on Wednesday.

Installed mine and have to take it back out. No power to the IAC for some reason. They suspect a bad board. In hindsight, I should have connected everything on a bench and tested it before installing it on the car. Oh well. They don't call it Beta Testing for nothing.
