    Coilover Suspension

Awesome setup. Pictures don't really show it much. But how well did they reinforce the upper coil over mounts and upper link mounts in the rear. Seems the only area that I would really worry about. I ask because the setups I have seen done in the past had issues in the area.

    Subframe Connectors

I would think the Global West tubular are stronger but they are also alot more noticeable because they don't match the factory square design. As was said before I would think any of them are a big improvement over stock welded in.

    3 link with panhard bar?

While you can go plenty fast with leaf springs. A 3 or 4 link is a night and day upgrade on almost any vehicle. Suspension tuning, traction, axle wrap are just a few of the worth while reasons. I was blown away by the improved drivability my truck had after installing a parallel 4 link with...

    3 link with panhard bar?

Watts link weighs more, adds a number of extra possible failure points and is a lot more complicated. Yes it does center the axle a lot better but a pan hard bar works quite well with proper geometry using less space and weight. Far as a 3 link a panhard should work fine if it is installed...

    9" Rear end

One concept to look into is replacing the crush sleeve with a crush sleeve eliminator kit. Takes the hassle out of replacement. One time and done. If you have ever over tightened a crush sleeve you will understand the frustration that goes along with it.

    1972 Convertible barn find?

It has cancer and without out extensive Chemo it is will rot away setting in place. Even if stored in a good environment. I would hate to see what the frame rails look like right now.

    Not a Stang...not a 427

My dad is working on restoring a 67 Galaxy and honestly it is a car that is growing on me. I am bigger fan of the 67's but the suspension design makes for a really fun car with alot of possibilities. Nice ride and can easily be built for performance.

    302 Stroker questions

Either will work well. I went with a 331 just because I got the full Scat 331 Kit cheap from a dude in Richmond. Cash money. Multiple good machine shops in the area also. I have a roller block in the garage also for my build. Makes cam selection and break in alot easier. Still gathering parts...

Does your factory radiator cut it?

For the price of the new aluminum radiators I would go that direction. But they are right you need a thermostat and shroud more than anything. After switching my truck over to an aluminum radiator I am a huge fan. They work awesome. Scott Drake I think makes the sacrificial anodes that work on...

    crazy question well kinda

If it drives and can be cleaned up I would enjoy it. As long as it doesn't look like a mullet is a per-requisite to owning and driving it. A majority of the these cars I have seen restored ended up sold later and the return on investment was no where near the break even point. We own these cars...

    Axle housing flange?

I was looking at the kit below for an easy upgrade for my 71 with a 9". Simple bolt on is nice sometimes instead of hunting down all the conversion parts from another ford car. http://www.ebay.com/itm/261373816640?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

    71 Boss 351

That thing is rough looking and is going to need a good chunk of TLC before it is really worth the money. 30k and the reserve wasn't met. Another guy who thinks he has a chunk of gold. Being a car from Mass. the cancer has set in and is going to continue. Just like my car from upstate NY...

    Hi- torque starter...neccessary?

I love the additional header clearance on my PMGR Starter. Add that to the improved starting from the higher torque and we got a winner. When I installed my PMGR starter I also installed a larger gauge to replace the 40 year old original. While I agree that undersized wire can cause issues. I...

New F 150 with Aluminum body

I know the aluminum hood on my lightning was awesome. Feather light compared to the alternatives. It weighed in less than even some of the carbon fiber hoods. No doubt I think it is a great idea and corrosion resistance would be nice to.

New F 150 with Aluminum body

Only question I have is how will the reduced weight effect towing. In my experience a heavier truck tends to be more stable when towing heavier loads. It was quite noticeable when I jumped from my single cab truck to a supercrew. My supercrew is alot more stable when towing my mustang on a car...
