    Here is my 72 Grande 351c 2v

Took my first ride around the block since the car has been sitting over a year while I worked on the paint and then EFI. I'm impressed with the killshot, it is working good, no bog when you get on the gas. AFR readings seem good. Car idle is nice at stop signs. Timing control is working as it...

    Here is my 72 Grande 351c 2v

Yes bought the front and rear seats from CJponyparts as they offer military discount and took a bit off the total. The upholstery shop I paid to do the back seat said TMI did a very good job making the rear seat cover. Only downside was waiting over a month for delivery as it shipped directly...

    Here is my 72 Grande 351c 2v

I think the interior is done enough to show some pictures. The only question now is where to mount the screen for the Aces ECU.

    Here is my 72 Grande 351c 2v

Here is a picture of passenger apron with voltage regulator removed and ECU and new coil added. If you look close on this picture, slightly above the line going into the fuel regulator, you will see the grommet I put in for the main power to the ECU connected directly to the battery in the trunk...

I am more than happy to answer any questions you have. I figured quite a bit out through trial and error, and I would be happy to share what worked and what was problematic.

    Paint shop Prison

Actually, the car was painted with a gloss black single coat over epoxy primer. Then vinyl wrapped the color flips from dark metallic green to black. The wrap should be good for 5-10 years on a garage queen such as mine so it is a good choice. While I am confident in my ability to paint, I...

    Here is my 72 Grande 351c 2v

It's been a while since my last post. I have been working on several engine-related things. While I was at it, I replaced all coolant hoses, replaced the steering box that was leaking badly, and installed new power steering hoses. I had bad rust from battery acid on the passenger front apron...

    Paint shop Prison

Did my 72 myself not perfect but was only like 1k in materials and my time. Stripped to bare metal and back up . Took me almost a year in my spare time.

    Prep prior to paint.

My two cents speedokote.com they direct ship their paints and primer. I used their epoxy primer on my car after I completely stripped it. Pretty good stuff and only 140 something for a gallon. They also have a product similar to rhino liner that may be good for painting the frame and...

    Fuel filler pipe gasket replacement

I can send the vent with a new o-ring and metal lock ring I received extra with the new fuel tank. I throw those in for free. Don't see me needing them any time soon.

    Fuel filler pipe gasket replacement

Do you just need the vent, I also have the vapor canister for the engine bay?

Holly Sniper EFI issues or NOT?

Thanks but it came painted. Not bad for a Tanks Inc $164 tank I ordered from summit.

Holly Sniper EFI issues or NOT?

Prices for the parts I used totaled 165 for the tank and 267 for the pump. So all in only $432 vs $824 for the aeromotive fuel tank. Not including the sender. I would rather do it this way, if you use the aeromotive they have a special sender so if it goes bad you have to buy theirs at a premium...

Holly Sniper EFI issues or NOT?

This is my setup I'm currently installing. Standard tank with a aeromotive fuel pump meant for a foxbody mustang 340lph, fits perfectly where the vent is supposed to be. I am using a vented gas cap for a vent. Fuel outlet on the sender will be plugged. Return will also have a 90 degree AN-6 just...

    Are these hoses connected correctly?

The valve is part number HV1022C you can buy it from rock auto, along with all the hoses. I listed all the past numbers in a previous post on this thread. I think total cost for every hose shipped was only around 60. In my last picture you see the two small vacuum lines coming down directly...

    Are these hoses connected correctly?

I just wanted to let you know that everything fits pretty well. Each of the 3 hoses is a few inches longer than needed. This is nice since they cut really easily with a razor knife, allowing you to get the perfect fit. The two hoses with the 90-degree ends on one side worked well, one 90 on...

    Gas tank issue

A quick fix would be to buy a vented gas cap. As replacing the rubber hose would mean dropping the gas tank. A vented cap would keep you on the road till winter, when you could drop the tank to fix it.

Holly Sniper EFI issues or NOT?

I am going back and forth between putting the ECU in the car or mounting it where the vapor canister was. The benefit to putting it where the vapor canister was is already have 3 studs to mount to and it would be deep enough to be mostly hidden when hood is open. Also would mean a lot smaller...
