So true the way I see it is if this car can contribute to others in helping them restore another then it’s not wasted. Plus it really helped me see how things go together and having it as reference has been amazing 

Good words! I had a lot of metal work in my Mach and that was expensive but this one easily needs 3X more work and sheetmetal  so sad to see it like this

I don’t think I appreciated the grabber lime color until I saw it in person, it’s definitely really cool! There’s definitely something about these cars that grab on to you and make you fall in love! I got the bug when I was a kid and it never left me 

Haha! Now you’re talking!    I wish these cars didn’t have all the structural rust damage then they might be worth doing something with.    In the mean time I’ll keep looking and saving what I can! 

Definitely a very original car too! Lots of details I didn’t know about when tearing down or cool markings as well as some rare pieces I needed for my other one!

I know, I know...I have an addiction. This car was close to me and I’m so glad I worked out a deal with the guy to be able to take it home. Decided to ordered a marti and found out it was quite a nice equipped sportsroof.    I did post a video of this on my YouTube if you follow it! If not...

Looking at maybe putting together this frame I have and was curious if anyone had any used rim blow parts they’d be willing to sell,  not looking for perfect Concourse items, seems how the plastic on this frame isn’t great.    let me know what you have! Maybe something lying around collecting...

I didn’t really do anything with the trim I am using other than clean it up, I know this topic has been talked about a bunch but I did a little experiment after watching some YouTube videos on extra trim I had.    figured this would be a cool post to add any tips and tricks you’ve found   

Yeah I’d def be a bit concerned of any more potential damage if being shipped again. Looks to be easy to mess up that box

Yeah I think with the proper repair techniques it could be quite a nice repair that’s not noticeable 

Man I could see this being a pain to deal with especially if you need access to the trunk. And I imagine it can scratch up the deck lid

From what I’ve seen the holes to be drilled are on the 69-70 models, I believe there are no hard fixed mounting parts on the  71-73 styles  but don’t quote me.
