    Ye, he beat the dragster and ended up losing to another 9 sec. Cleveland by a few ft & a very close to red light reaction time. Now we're looking up his motor a 410 Cleavor should beat 'em next time.

    New leaf springs to raise the rear

    I also used the standard eye 5 leafs with a 1"added shackle. The center of your arc will sit @ 1" lower. It's best to keep the shocks in mid-range of their travel for optimal performance. I ended up putting a 1/2" rubber spacer on each shock.

    You still have to do something to get those corners to stay down on the rubber trim. There's no lip on the bottom to pull under the metal flange.
