It may be hot where you are but the car will also likely fill up with that fine red dust and dirt over time. If you get caught in a tundra cross wind that would likley be unpleasant too.

Ordered some sheet metal online in preparation to fabricate a patch panel for the rusty lower cowl. Also finished off the fitting of my new centre dash map light.

Well I just don't have the budget to do what you did, but today I took the plunge to cut out the rusty collar on my AC Lower Cowl,  I marked out where I wanted to cut and then proceeded to drill lots of holes eventually cutting through the holes to remove the rusty section. Its Bad but nowhere...

Great to hear your niece is over the worst.  ::thumb::   Trouble is because people can't see the virus many think it won't happen to them!  :shootself: What State does your niece live in?

My partner is a Nurse/Matron in the local Hospital, She told me today that 2 of her staff despite wearing all the correct PPE have gone down with the virus! There's a lot more to come :(
