    Frankenstein Mach 1 in Vegas

This is a familiar struggle to a lot of us. I have like $15k more into my car than I planned when I bought it, and that's not even close to thinking about paint and body work. I don't have advice on the rear end work or anything, but just wanted to commiserate. I wish you the best of luck in...

Glad to hear you solved the running issue. What did you do to clean the carb out? Excited to see your interior come together. The before and current pics really put into perspective how far it's come already. Nice work!

    1972 Mustang Coupe 302

http://midlifeharness.com/ is his site. You can remove and send him your existing under dash harness, or I believe for an extra cost buy a returned one from him. But if you send him your original it's coming back with all wiring for your cars original options (convenience group, tach, optional...

Once again our cars mirroring each other. Glad you were able to avoid a full rebuild like me though. Have you also looked into midlife restoring your harness? I've been bouncing back and forth between diving into a universal harness install and sending it out to midlife, leaning more towards...

Bob's 73 Convertible Avocado Interior Project

Fantastic work! Link to the thread for those reading: https://7173mustangs.com/threads/casting-abs-glue.32848/ I'll have to research this myself. My grill is in much worse shape than you started with, but I'm in winter project mode and it couldn't hurt to try this before buying a new one.

You planning on a honeycomb or flat rear panel? Gonna get some shiny surround on the right taillight or black out the left to match the right? Mine are opposite, one has black with bright trim and one is sans any black.

1973 Coupe - Interior qtr trim panel

Ironically, I realized for the first time today that my console and rear panels have been outfitted with vinyl themselves. Best I can tell still the original avocado underneath.

    71 351 Cleveland starting/cranking issue

Had a similar issue with an alternator. First Napa tested it as fine, a different one who had the only other one in the area tested it and said they tested wrong because it failed.

    71 351 Cleveland starting/cranking issue

How slow are we talking? I used to think I had a problem because my 70 was slow cranking when the engine was warm. That's just a common problem with an unshielded starter from excess heat. It's also possible your car is allergic to vanilla ice cream.
