Bad fuel is a possibility. Not sure what you have access to or how old it is but using fresh "real" fuel never hurts. Run a hose to a fresh can of gas before draining the tank though. Good luck.

Back in the day, we old racers had pretty much the same saying. Just used fewer words to get there. "Speed cost money. How fast do you want to go?"

When I last drove it, my gas mileage was 10 in town and 12 on the highway. The best I ever got was 13. The worst was 4 when racing and I did that as often as possible. A set of tires lasted 4 months! So many good and expensive memories! Hopefully again in the not so distant future.
