I had to remove the speedometer cluster. Now the engine will not start. Does the cluster have to be installed for engine to start?

thank you for answering, I have that kit, but it doesn't have the grommet. original from factory had the short hose and grommet as1piece. again thank you.

My 72 and 73 Mustang has a short piece of hose that goes thru the hood, I haven't been able to find this replacement part. Does anyone know where I can get the correct part or what size grommet that I need.

I'm replacing the windshield washer hoses on my 1973, the kits that I got CJ pony. doesn't have the grommet for the hose to go thru the hood. Does anyone make this part? any help would be appreciated.

I'm changing the Turn signal switch ASSY on my 1973 Mach 1. The old one has grease on the horn pins. do I need to put grease on them or not? if so what type of grease?

You mentioned the 2 Phillips screws, where are they located? I removed dash pad from my 72 Mach 1 there were 2 screws by the center gauge cluster. Are these the one's your talking about. My 72 is a little strange in that the interior trim code (GW) is for a 73 Mach 1. This is from warranty...

Thanks for all the info. I have a 1972 Mach 1 that I bought new. I'm working on restore. I didn't know that the 1973 didn't have lower turning signal lights like my 72. Thanks for all the info. With the things I could see from distance, I'm going in very carefully.

I am looking at a 1972 or 1973 Mach 1. The grill running lites are horizontal not vertical. The owner said it’s a 1973. Did any 1973 Mach 1’s come with horizontal lights? If everything goes right I will go see up close Tuesday. They are send full vin # Monday.
