I put in the new light switch and all is good!!

I'm have a similar problem, but my light all go out including the rear taillights. The head lights stay on and so does the high beam indicator red light of the pony. I have a new light switch. I'm installing it today. I hope it works. I keep on hearing a click coming from in the glove box when...
