    73 vert up for raffle

Hey guys, ran into this car at a waterpark attached to the Columbus Zoo in Ohio while visiting family on leave. Kinda neat watching my kids get excited over seeing another 73 vert. I think the auction was today and it was a beautiful car from Mecum Auctions. If I didn't have one already I...

    Army money well spent

Hey guys, Just got back from my latest training mission with the Army and put some of my TDY (Temporary Duty) money to good use on a long over do (and desired) upgrade to the car. I've been wanting to put the NASA hood to use since I purchased the car back in 2001 after OEF 1, and thanks to CJ...

    Electrical gremlins laid to rest!

Thanks to all who helped me troubleshoot my electrical issues. New ignition switch fixed the starter/car not turning off. 30 bucks, good advice and a few beers went a long way to me keeping my sanity working through it! Thanks Marty

New problem today, car won't shut off

After working through my fuse issue yesterday, I started the car today and the starter sounded like it didn't disengage fully and the car wouldn't shut off from the key. I had to use the battery quick disconnect to kill the car. Could it be the ignition swich? I don't have a tilt wheel column...

    20 amp fuse blowing

Just had the car out for a drive and noticed my console clock stopped working. Checked and fuse #7 (20amp), according to the owners manual, was blown so I replaced it and the new one popped instantly. Started looking and the horn is also on that circuit and not working. I know it is a...

    Another craigslist find

Here's a decent looking MACH 1 for anybody looking in the midwest. Engine compartment looks rough and I'm sure the cowls are perfect, but I've seen worse for more. http://kansascity.craigslist.org/cto/2283336890.html

    Bringing tears to one's eyes

I found this website a few years ago and am constantly going back to see the new additions. Truely a heart wrenching collection of pics and stories, but also very entertaining. I'm sure the eclectic group of guys here will enjoy browsing. Even a few 71-73 beauties hidden in there...

    replacement hot water elbow

Guys have a question. I need to replace my hot water elbow on my 73 and can find numerous replacements part #18559, but mine has a vacuum acuator on the side and none of the replacements I've found do. I've currently cut about 1/2 the hose tube off that was rotted and shoved the heater hose as...

    New Flowmasters

Wow! Just put flowmaster 40s on my car replacing 10 year old (or older) turbos, what a difference in sound. Nice and aggressive but not overbearing. Only running 2 1/4" pipes with cyclone long tube headers but very happy for now.:D

    dash paint

Hi all, trying to find what color black to repaint my metal dash. I've learned the early mustangs had a charcoal black metalic paint, but not sure if that is correct for the 71-73 beasts. Thanks.
