Rubber Kit for '73 Mach 1 Coupe Resto

Is there anyone who sells a rubber kit for the entire car i.e. door/window, boot lid rubbers and seals? After 50 years need them all ...

Is there asbestos in the firewall insulation?

Replacing the firewall insulation and wondering if there's any asbestos in the original (1973) that we need to worry about?

    More 1973 Mustang Engine Mounts

BTW it looks like there are no left and right mounts - either engine side or frame side - as they only go on one way?

    More 1973 Mustang Engine Mounts

The tab does not seem to foul the mount in any way?

Is there any trick to this - or just take them off level with the face? Cheers George

71-72 Coupe/Sportsroof frame brackets from ACP

Am just swapping these into my 73 as we speak. Did I read somewhere (can't find it ... yet) that you have to grind the tab off the face?

    More 1973 Mustang Engine Mounts

I'm looking too JW. See my comment in this thread here if you haven't seen it: "Trying to source these mounts from Australia without much luck. Having to send them for refurb to and from the USA is a rigmarole. Is there anyone who makes the clam shell/captive 'one-year-only' mount?" .

    73 motor mounts

Hi All, not sure if this thread is still alive? Trying to source these mounts from Australia without much luck. Having to send them for refurb to and from the USA is a rigmarole. Is there anyone who makes the clam shell/captive 'one-year-only' mount? These ones (link here) from the...

    Manifold Vacuum Tree

Thanks Sheriff, this link takes me to a post which applies to my car i.e. "Hi ... these diagrams are great except they don't show my car ... 73 351 C 2v they show a 4V ...any suggestions ..." and the link in response i.e. http://www.mustangbarn.com/1973-engine-vacuum-diagrams.html no longer...

    Manifold Vacuum Tree

Thanks @Hemikiller. Just to clarify: large top port to brake booster: tick. Not sure if we eliminated the EGR - where does it normally take off from, or was it lost with the extractors? I presume it takes one of the 2 'medium' size ports? The remaining two ports are one 'medium' size and one...

    Manifold Vacuum Tree

Can anyone tell me where the 4 points on the tree - see attached - connect to? Pulled this '73 Mach 1 apart 3 years ago and did not photograph this. There needs to be some connection to the FMX transmission in the lower circle. Did search but could not find another thread on this. If I missed...

Can I just ask is 18" the limit or can we go larger?

    Fender Flare

Will certainly be looking for a ready-mades or a wide-body kit - so will go through these sites in detail.  Now I will need wheels to fill them something with a big offset so I don't have to do major surgery to suspension architecture. Can anyone point me to a good thread on deep-dish wide...

    Fender Flare

Thanks Daniel - yes if I can find a flare that we can weld on that will save a lot of time/money/effort/mistakes/redo's ... will go through what they have.

:whistling:   lollerz Yes, more fool me! I did find that out after I sent it to one of my mates, who's helping out on the restomod, who is all over photoshop. Mind you, the Black Mamba is still the look I want to go for, so I'm grateful to Prokop for giving us something to aim for.
