Kentucky Mustang is a great company to deal with.

I had placed an order with another large company. After many promises they actually stated that Australia was too hard to deliver to and refunded my money. I then contacted Kentucky Mustang, who were able to complete the order without any problems. They were also cheaper. Great service.

    Carpets in Australia

Just wondering if any of our Australian members have used Knox Auto Carpets in Victoria, Australia? If you have, what are your opinions of their carpets? I require new carpets for my #73 convertible with RHD conversion.

    Another 50th. Birthday.

My #73 came off the line in Dearborn 50 years ago today on10/27/1972. She was released to Neal Pope Ford in Atlanta on 10/30/1972 as a stock order and sold on 03/23/1973. I have owned her for nearly half of her life and have no idea when she came to Australia unfortunately.

Ford Family of Fine Music 8 track cartridge.

Would a 1973 car, factory equipped with AM/8track stereo built in October #72 have a 1972 or a 1973 dated 8 track cartridge supplied with it when new? The #72 cartridge number is PC8S-591 and the #73 cartridge number is DPS 2 0012 (D4AA-T9A059-AA). They both have Orchestra '73 listed music on them.

    FMX Alloy Oil Pan Availability

Does anyone know if there is an alloy oil pan available for the FMX transmission? I would have thought that something was available considering the amount of these transmissions made and used over the years in the USA and Australia alone.

    Early Air Conditioning System

I found this on a FB Mustang forum and found it quite funny. I suppose the owner may have been asked to turn the a/c on. Once upon a time this was the only form of air conditioning available. Some people probably have never seen a manual window winder either.

    MGR V8

I inherited an MGR V8 like this one from my dad a few years ago. 1994 3.9L Rover V8, 5 Speed Gearbox. Leather interior. Woodcote Green paint. !983 hand built in England. This one was originally sent to Japan when new and then dad imported it to Australia through an importer in Sydney who made...

    1973 Convertible restoration in Australia

Here are some pictures of the engine brackets, head light boxes and shocker tower braces I have been cleaning and painting. The notch in the right hand side shocker tower brace is to clear the brake master cylinder for the right hand drive conversion that was done many years ago. I have also had...

    Carpet colour.

Does anyone know how to find out the original carpet colour for a 1973? The only information I have is that they were "color keyed". Car colour is Blue Glow (3K) and interior is white (CW).

Sad end for a 67 coupe.

This car was owned and driven by a woman in Australia. She cut the roof off and most of the internal structure to badly fit a convertible roof. She then crashed the car into a tree crushing the badly rusted left hand front rail. The floors etc. are all badly rusted and the 6 cylinder motor...

    Battery tray apron support panel.

i purchased a  battery tray apron support panel  from postaldan514 on Ebay. It is very well made and is almost (or is) an exact copy of my original. The price US$35) was great. We could not make one of this quality for this price. Shipping to Australia was no problem.

Center gauge modification for RHD conversion.

When i bought my car the center gauges had been removed and a standard center panel installed. This was due to the right hand drive conversion. Apparently the choice was no gauges or gauges angled to the left which you can't see properly. After numerous phone calls to conversion and parts...

    1973 Carpet

G'day, I have a 1973 convertible that was converted to RHD many years ago. I was wondering if Mach 1 carpets fit the convertibles as I require a heel pad on the right hand side.
