That suits my cruising style. On the strength of this thread I've just ordered a 1 1/8 front and 7/8 rear sway bars, to replace the basic front and NO rear sway bar. Should be an improvement along with the new excel shocks I'm running.

Great thread, on a really good wedge site. I have new KYB excel shocks fitted, they came as part of a full kit and look like the cheap option. My Question is - would KYB gas-a-just be a much better improvement over the excels ?

Would my car have come with stock or competition suspension ? It's a Mach 1 running a 3 speed and 302 and only the small front anti roll bar. I'm guessing this would be stock ?

I have emailed LMM and they asked for measurements and numbers of coils I'm running 15x8 rear and 15x7 front. Gap at the rear, top of tyre to arch is 2" (I'm happy with that) but front gap is 4 1/2" ?? There are 9 coils on front springs.

Probably the best move with hindsight. I have sent LMM an email with both photos attached to see what they suggest. Then I will go from there. Thanks.

Thank you, I am two years into a full restoration. This has had a couple of months to settle but it looks like it's not going to settle as much as expected. I don't thing the screen and carpet will make much difference some how :)) Another angle.
