I personally feel like the 70 gives a more comfortable ride. But looks wise, magnums and factory steels look better with 70’s. Centerlines, Weld etc. always look better to me with 60’s (Now that you’re even more confused lol )

I’m thinking about installing my own exhaust system on the ‘71 Mach 1. I’m going to stick with the factory 351c manifolds and just replace the dual exhaust system. Anybody had really good/bad luck with the kits? Thanks!

If you look up a phenolic spacer for 4100 series on a ‘67 - 69 mustang, they came with a pcv port And were 1” thick. I know there are 1/4“ ones out there but they’re too thin for a pcv. Have you considered running off of manifold vacuum? If I remember correctly, there were 2 ports on the back...

Hi. Welcome to the site! The Small block mount is different from the 385 series big block. Small block mounts from ‘64 on up will work fine. Before ‘64 the 260 and (then brand new 289) had offset bosses and used a different mount Altogether.
