I was installing my new AC condenser and noticed that the bottom sticks out from the radiator support frame. I have the old condenser that the PO put in the trunk when I bought it and the mounting tabs are positioned the same way as the new one. Is this correct? Looks weird slanting out.

I used one from NPD. Part number 4841-4A. It's longer than the 4841-4B. The 4 speed I put in is a RUG-E1 from a 68 Mustang. I did have trouble getting it to push in all the way so that the U joint would clear the rear yoke. For some reason it would bind up about an inch before bottoming...

NPD has the rear pans for $35 to $100 and free shipping over $300. Can't imagine shipping on two rear pans would be that much.

I'm in the process of swapping out my FMX for a top loader. The transmission is in and am ready to install the speedometer cable as well as the backup light wiring. The FMX cable runs under the driver's side and mounted with two clips. I'm thinking it would be similar on the passenger side...

Awesome build Torbsim! Wish I had the room to take my Grande apart and do what you're doing. I believe National Parts Depot has the wiring for your alternator. They have one for most all applications including 55 Amp with and without gauges. They list it as a wire loom.
