Update:
Minor shavings located when I pulled the starter.
I think it was only spaced back 7/16.
So I bought the Dorman shims on Amazon. 9$ Canadian. Should be here tomorrow. I bought two to see how it goes
So I installed a rebuilt starter in to my 351C 4speed car. I was experiencing some heat soak due to long tubes.
I drive the car a hand full of times. Then at the national car show over the weekend in Oshawa Ontario the car doesn’t start.. 1 click.
Try to bump start it, nothing. Infact, the...
So, man I hate car audio. I’d like to know if anyone has run one of these amps. It’s a stand alone Bluetooth amp that doesn’t require a radio, just stream through your phone.
I bought one, and installed it in the top of my glove box. Nicely hidden. The goal is simply to have some reasonable...

sream car, but my first one, help please
Couple of install shots. Slowly coming along. I’ve got it about 90% in now, trans is back in, accessories, driveshaft, exhaust, etc, just triple checking torques and making sure I don’t get a gross fuel leak all over that fresh paint.
It’s custom ground, I’d have to look up the lift and duration. It’s hydraulic and I didn’t want a lumpy cam for the street. I dislike driving cars like that on the street, my personal opinion.
And I will correct myself over 400 ft/lbs to 500 rpm but stays high
averages are 392 ft/lbs and...
401hp/ 417 lbs
torque curve is like a flat line above 400 until about 5000rpm
It definitely preferred the Holley 600 over the browler carb. And it liked being hot. Actually made more power when it was warm.
