I was able to fix what was broken. It is actually more sturdy than it was originally. :) Just finished rebuilding my heater/ac box and reinstalling it. It was a bit of a chore, but well worth it.

It is behind the a/c - heater controls....plastic, has the ports where the vacuum hoses connect to. Does that help?

They definitely don't leave much ground clearance. I was pretty lucky on finding mine. I constantly watch craigslist for parts and found a good used set for $100......couldn't hardly believe it.

I would like to trade my poly 73 front bumper for a chrome 73 bumper in good condition. Mine is in good condition. I can send pics.

No issues with installing them on my 460/c6 73 Mach 1.

I picked up a pair of 10 inch with 4.5 inch backspacing last weekend, so I guess we'll see.....
