    Replacement carb options

For those who have been following my autolite 4100 saga I have decided to go another route. It is really important to me to be able to retain the stock 302 air cleaner. Does anyone know of a new carb that will allow this? I don’t mind modifying the air cleaner slightly to make it work. Ron

    Electrinic Ignition options

I finally was able to start the Mustang today for the first time in 23 yrs. The elation was short lived as I lost spark after about 20 seconds of running. I traced the problem to the mallory Unilite module. What I am wanting to know is if there is a better module available such as pertronics...

I have the factory schematic book, but it is terribly hard to read being one color, small print and no key. Does anyone have a simplified schematic or know where to find one? Thanks, Ron

I could use some help. 1972 Coupe 302/T5 I have a rebuilt Autolite 4100 carb that I am trying to mount on an Edelbrock performer 289 intake. T5 shifter.

Does anyone have a good suggestion for a shifter handle that looks appropriate for a T5 conversion. The one I have now is the suggested one from Modern Driveline and it looks like something out of a Rat Fink vehicle.

    Exhaust donut sleeve

72 302. I am installing the exhaust on the car and using the original factory exhaust manifolds. I have manifolds for a 73 and a 72. Remanufactured 302?

I pulled a 302 engine out of ny parts car as according to the paperwork that came with the car it was installed less than 10,000 miles ago. It seems like a no brainer as the current engine has 150K on it or more. I wanted to do a little research on what I am putting in however, there seems to...

    Engine pull! Elation to frustration…

So I pulled the 302 out of my sons ‘72 coupe. I have pulled engines many times, but never out of a car with a 6 foot nose. My hoist barely reached the engine lift points without hitting the bumper and even with the boom extended to the 1/4 ton hole. I was lifting the engine and trans as a unit...

Doing a headliner on a 72 coupe. I am wondering where the windlace goes. The car didn’t have any when I removed the old headliner. I assume it goes around the c channel from the quarter window and all away around the upper door window channel. Seeing as my car had none I am having trouble...

    Training day Oct 1971

Would it be going too far if I pulled the Marti report and tracked down the guy who did the spot welds on the floor pan?  He deserves a good hard slap across the face. Took me hrs to pull the driver side pan, not to mention the cuts and burns. Passenger side was very easy to remove.
