I tried a hinge bolt on the hood and it did indeed fit. I never even considered the possibility that the hinge bolts WERE also the hood bolts. They looked too small for this massive hood. Thanks for the help.

Does anyone know where I can get the hood to hood hinge bolts for a 73 mustang or what size the bolts are? I've looked online many times and all I can find are hinge to fender bolts.

I forgot to mention I do have what I believe to be the original 2bbl intake, valve covers and exhaust manifolds. Also the block, cylinder heads, water pump and oil pan look to be original as well. It's awesome seeing so many people from other countries here by the way.
