    Parts For Sale AM Radio

I have a Ford AM radio I'm listing here before eBay. I think the markings indicate 65 Mustang maybe? Here are the markings: 28-14675-8 5TPZ 19236 I have not connected power so you should assume this needs to be rebuilt. Presets work, knobs turn. Turning knob moves the tuning indicator. $100...

    Hunting a voltage leak

I'm trying to find a voltage leak that's killing my battery and could use some help. I have a test light that I connected between the battery negative post and the negative battery cable (while disconnected). In this configuration, with the key off, there is 12 volts running across the test...

    Dead Battery

I replaced the battery in my 73 with a Duragold 750cca from AutoZone last May. I went out to take a drive yesterday and it was dead (last started maybe 3 weeks ago). And I mean dead: no dim lights, nothing. I put my battery charger on the battery and it would not charge. It just gave me a...

    Future Boss 351 Buyer?

Hey all - I would love to pick up a Boss 351 sometime in the future. And by the future, I mean anytime between tomorrow and the next 5 years. I'm a 73 Vert owner, but pretty green on the Boss 351. I thought maybe if people were up for it, you might take a look at this listing and pick it apart...

    Rear View Mirror Disassembly

I haven't spent time with it yet, but my rear view mirror no longer dims with the switch. When you flip the switch, you can feel a little resistance, but the mirror never moves. This just happened. Can the mirror be disassembled to repair or am I without the dim function?

Installing Subframe Connectors with 2 Post Lift

73 Vert I bought the TinMan subframe connectors for installation on my convertible. I wouldn't call myself a welder, but I think I can do a good enough job to get these installed. I know I have to make some modifications to fit them in the convertible. There is a YouTube video on doing so. My...

Best bet for rear taillight sockets?

I have a flakey socket out back. I suspect I could rehab it, but I'm wondering if there are good options for rear taillight/ brake sockets that I can splice in?

Thoughts on Angus 351C 3V Heads?

Any thoughts on these 3V heads? https://angusracing.com/shop/ford-302-351c-235cc-68cc-cnc-complete-aluminum-cylinder-heads/ Comparison to Trick Flow or Edelbrock? These heads say "Complete" however I don't see rocker arms in the pics. Is that typical for a "complete" package? Never purchased...

    Edelbrock Carb Empties

Hi! I have a 650 AVS2 carb. If I let it sit for more than a few days I have to turn the engine over for a long time before it'll start. I'm assuming the carb is draining when it's sitting? It runs fine otherwise. Typical solution?

    What is a survivor?

I'm following a few posts about "survivor" cars. I love older, untouched cars. But what makes a car a "survivor?" How do you define it?

Pulling engine with 2 post lift?

Kind of an oddball question, but has anyone pulled an engine with a 2 post lift? My cherry picker won't reach the engine without hitting the front bumper. I could get a new one or remove the bumper, but has anyone ever experimented with putting a couple of 6x6 beams across their two post lift...

Fluid poured out, no brakes. etc. I add a new line installed and all was well. Today, a few days after getting it back, I pushed the pedal real hard...

    Radio Delete Plate

My 73 Mustang has an aftermarket 2 post radio that I don't use, and I don't have the original. I'd like to install a delete plate. Any idea where I can get one or one that fits well enough? Not looking for concourse, just a decent fit and finish.

    Resetting Turn-Signal Cancelling Cam

I recently replaced my 4-turn steering box with a 3-turn steering box (thread: https://7173mustangs.com/threads/need-opinions-on-redhead-steering.40773/). Works great! EXCEPT: Now when I use my directionals, they don't always turn off (cancel). My theory is that now that I have a quick-ratio...
