Hello All, I have a '73 vert with original tach on dash. I've never seen either of the two lights on the tach lit (the "Mustang" and "Brakes" lights). What events are supposed to light them? And if they don't work, what are the recommended troubleshooting steps? The tach works fine otherwise.

Thank you all, I had to cut some depth out of the steel '71 brackets then have them welded together (cost me $100 for a professional to do it). The bumper sits beautifully now.
