    Mustang Mach 1 1973 351C V2 H-Code

I wish I had a few less irons in the fire, but for now I'll keep checking in and watching the great progress lots of you have made and are making. We'll done! What's up with that little blue car? Nice!

    Marker lights on a 73.

I would like to install marker lights in the front valance of my 73. I see that the 71/72 valance pans are different than the 73 and assume that they hang lower in order to expect the lights. So I guess my question is, does the front valance pan from a 71/72 fit on a 73, (with the giant bumper)...

1973 351 Cleveland 2V available, what would you do?

I'm working on threading a couple of needles but if things work out I'm going to take the engine and put in a corner for now. Thanks for your help! I've started mocking up the front end, engine compartment on my 73 vert. and am getting excited about what this car is going to look like. I have a...

1973 351 Cleveland 2V available, what would you do?

So it's pretty much a no brainer huh? It's definitely a Cleveland. Should I take the trans as well? Not sure what he'll be asking for that.

1973 351 Cleveland 2V available, what would you do?

I recently came across a 351 2V that the owner wants $350. He says it wasn't running when he took ownership and has no other information. I don't need the engine at this time but I also don't want to look back and say I should have taken the chance. There is also a automatic transmission that...

What did you do today instead of working on your Mustang?

Just returned from a trip/fishing to Canada. Alway like going after Labor day, much easier to get campsites with no reservations. My wife and I caught a bunch of walleyes, pike and a 53" muskie. If I worked on my 73 as much as I fished I may have something, someday... Leaving for Ontario in a...

What did you do today instead of working on your Mustang?

The Gordie Howe International Bridge is expected to be completed in 2025. The pictures below were taken exact 1 year ago. Truly amazing work.

What did you do today instead of working on your Mustang?

I've been working on the Stang when time allows, try to do at least something every day even if it's just thinking about what to do next. But last week it was all fishing! Went to the Detroit river for muskies and walleyes. My wife flew over from Chicago and fished for a couple of days before...

    4V Head Question

Thank you Basstrix for your response, Good insight! I looked at the thumbprint and they look untouched to this rookies eye. I've tried to pry out all the history I can from who I purchased the "odd couple" but it seems like a dead end. He said he got them from his uncle years ago and thinks...

    4V Head Question

I checked all 4 chambers on each head and saw little difference in cc between the chambers. The difference is between head #1 & #2. The chart on Mustang-tech shows DOEA-N having 62.8cc, D1AE-GE has 2 listings, I think I have the 64cc. I may have done the volume check incorrectly by installing...

    4V Head Question

In my intro I said I recently picked up a "set" of 4V close chambers but now have concerns and questions. First of all the casting numbers don't match... After doing some poking around and talking briefly with Pete's Garage, he didn't seem overly concerned. I checked the cc's on both heads and...

    Life is to short!

I really appreciate the support, thank you all!!! Chris! The muskie was caught last June in the Detroit river on the Canadian side.I'll be heading back this June. Thank you both from Texas! Tpj, I agree and have no problem with putting a 4V sticker on a H code car if that's what it has. I...

    Life is to short!

Hello all! I'm Jerry and this is my 1st post though I've been kind of hanging around for a while. I'm from the Chicago area and purchased a 1973 convertible about a year ago. I'm super excited about this car, though it didn't exactly start out that way. My problem is I have a bunch of other...
