I took it to mean that it is better to buy known quality products, Ford quality brakes, quality brackets (from Mustang Steve), rather than pieced together parts of unknown quality from an unknown seller.

 
I have all the factory disc parts off a 71-3's for converting

pedal, booster / M/C, prop valve, spindles, calipers  sometimes rotors  275.00 up depending on condition ... usually recommend getting booster M/C and calipers rebuilt for safety...   But it is all stock Ford parts
