1971 "Boss 429" on Craigslist in Ocala

Found this in my local Craigslist listings.  This is up in Ocala.  Apparently it started as a Boss 351 and they turned it into a "Boss 429".

Kevin, first thing I thought. If your going to take what is a rare and valuable car (at least to us) and decree to the world that it has a Boss 429, at least SHOW the engine!!

I can't tell you how many times I've gone to look at a car that was supposed to have Boss 429 power and it had a transplanted 429 Thundejet stock LTD/Thunderbird engine!

might be a scam. This same exact ad was in my local craigslist about 3-4 weeks ago.

Yes it is a scam...call sold for 80K in January and "ads appeared all over Craigslist early this month.  LOL

SEEMS the way to "hook" people (for everything) is to advertise SO LOW that people with no money to buy things at market price get excited!  (It is wrong just because IT IS WRONG - but those are the people that can't afford to be scammed out of any money)
