I have a hard enough time keeping parts from two cars separated, I don't know how you can keep track of that many disassembled cars!

New rear frame rails- very hard to get right now!

New full floor. I've got $2,000 tied up in the floor and frame rails alone, and that's not counting cutting out the old ones and welding in the new ones! As a matter of fact, I would imagine just the new reproduction metal body parts will cost around $5,000 to $7,000!

Why add traction lock when you can just drive one of your other cars with it? A special car in my opinion is best left as the factory made it. So much better than a rebody. Always love to see a car saved especially in green. Always prefer a special option rusty car over a low option non rust car. For me the value is in the Marti report and judging by your collection it seems to be your thing also. I Since I don't see a rear end ratio on the option sheet, does this mean a high ratio great for highway driving?

Thanks Greg. I'll have to check the door tag, but yes, it would be a 3.00 or 3.25 rear axle ratio. Great for gas mileage and cruising! My 72 R code convertibles with the 3.91 factory gears, not so much, lol!

This is by far the rustiest car I've ever fixed. The front torque box scared me the most. But I'm trusting my metal guy. His name is Manni and he defected from Cuba. He brought his whole family and his son is a doctor here now. The way I understand it, pretty much every car in Cuba is recycled from something else. The car is really coming along good. I like the way he plans to blast the areas before the new metal gets welded in. I'll keep you all posted.

I am starting to think that you are the messiah of old rusty but very rare old 71-73 Mustangs. You have come to earth to save these vehicles before they are taken by the devil of rust and decay. Good job!

The really funny thing about the story on this car is that it was found in an old car graveyard not far from where it was first sold many years ago and that no one dismantled the car during all those years. I'm so happy the numbers matching born with drive-train and all the rare options are still with the car.
