If memory serves me right Ford actually built one (one being the operative word) as a concept car, I'm not sure what year it was but I remember seeing it once a long time ago on a show which showed concept cars still owned and stored by Ford.


They also built a 70 country squire with a BOSS 429

Maybe start with a coupe because the quarters are lower and use the roof from a Dodge Magnum? Just thinking?

There are some beautiful wagons out there based on 65-68 cars, but I've never seen a 71-73.

I love wagons - but - as someone has already said and my first thought was "that is just wrong". I have seen Ford's design and all but the Mustang/Ranchero. I'll keep my Mach 1 thankyou.
