I thought they fit without cutting the towers just close. Was made to accept the Boss 429? I think the Ford performance catalog has a list of all Ford engines with overall dimensions and weights. I either saw it or drank I saw it, lol.
Going to see if I can find the catalog. They gave them out at the Mustang celebration in April.

1971 mustang grande 351c 4v c6. grabber lime, tracpac

we are currently in full on restoration mode. this car has always been custom painted dark grey since day one. we are taking it back to factory in every way. back to grabber lime. original interior dark green. even had the original 351c 4v rebuilt as close to factory specs as possible. i am a purist and not interested in making it “better”. original as possible. so far, fuel tank is only repo part on it.
