Good show with a decent turnout. There were some other Mustangs and Fords there, but no one really cares, right?...
Well, okay, so there were some really nice Shelbys and a couple really nice Boss 302s and a 557ci 69 fastback. And no body wants to hear about the absolutely beautiful 49 Mercury woody wagon....dime a dozen, right?

I did meet Dan Jones...nice guy.

Nice cars, looks like you had nice weather too. Amazing to me that there were 3 Panteras and only 6 71-73 Mustangs. I guess not too many of our cars get to the shows. Last October I took my 69 RS/SS 396 Camaro to the Morris Illinois show and no exaggeration over 20 69 Camaros there and I went around the whole show area and only saw one 72 Mustang fastback. We need to represent more, LOL.

It was nice if you like 95* and 70% plus humidity. But that is August around here. It helps that it is a nice park with lots of big trees.
Only two Panteras, that's two pics of the red one, but there are at least 8-10 locally. It was a big 71-73 turnout, though. One other owner was unable to make it. Plus, it will be quite a while before mine is able to attend anything other than a storage unit!
There are two Ford GT's that I know of. One was there last year and a different one this year. And, there is a real 260/289 AC Cobra that is usually in attendance, but not this year.

Maybe if Chris checks this topic he has more pics from the show. I didn't take much.

Show was not bad considering the heat. Nice picture of my '73 Gold Glow convertible.
Thanks! I'd like to think four years of cutting other classes and spending all that time in the high school photography department paid off!
