Wow, I have mine getting some patina in a corner of my garage..

Not being a carb specialist, what's the diff with this one? Aside the obvious polish, metal surface restoration

I believe what you are looking at on the auction site is the cost to rebuild your carburetor... You send it to them and for that price they will rebuild. If they know what they are doing, that is a reasonable price IMO. BTW, getting some patina is fine, just don't let the misses... throw it out as a piece of trash when she wants to make room in the garage...
