As the highway is visible from outside my office, I hear and see the occasional fender bender.

Yesterday, a loud screech caught my attention - and I was just in time to see a '65/66 come to a rest with its nose pointing towards the wall (excuse the smartphone zoom):

I'm not sure if his left front brake had jammed, or whether a tire had blown out (pretty sure it was the latter, as he popped the trunk for the tire iron) - and I never did find out for sure - but he was able to drive away after inspecting it.

Watching the thing screech to a stop was eerily unsettling, as I immediately thought of our forum member BigBlue before that '65/66 had come to a stop:

BigBlue is a fellow Miamian too. Truth is stranger than fiction.

Nice to see that this is now referred to as "Doing a Big Blue" lol. In all fairness, I did two spins and destroyed the front and back of my car, so I get to keep my gold metal. He needs to keep practicing dancebanana

In all seriousness though, I'm glad he didn't hit the car or have anyone else run into him. His pony lives another day!
